I know this has a couple of serials already, but check this out. Someone once posted that if you fill in the spaces with all the same number that it would be a valid serial. This is almost true, and here's a way to make a more general number.
Instead, you can make a valid serial by chosing any numbers for the first three of the set, then fill in the last seven spaces with the same number. The last seven spaces can be any number, say 1111111 or 5555555, from 0 to 7 (for some reason 8 and 9 don't work!)...
